JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Outreach Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
REPORTS TO: VP of Human Resources
DESCRIPTION:
The Talent Acquisition Outreach Coordinator is responsible for sourcing and assisting in hiring entry level and technical employees for two local, manufacturing facilities.
The position is Hybrid Remote – required to work on-site 2-3 days a week.
Must be able to travel to attend and support associated recruitment activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with HR and hiring managers to assess talent requirements.
Develop and conduct community outreach programs, partnering with local and regional colleges, technical schools and other organizations to engage talent.
Organize company hiring fairs, participate in regional/national events as may be recomended.
Utilize a variety of techniques to discover and attract the best talent, including social media sites.
Conduct thorough interviews and phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills to be successful in the Company’s environment.
Focus on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity.
Research and keep current on social media and sourcing techniques and on building a pipeline of candidates.
Assist in developing recruitment strategies to respond to long and short-term staffing needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience through an internship or entry level sourcing/recruiting position.
Social media savvy.
Genuine interest in and applying new technologies
Highly organized and success focused.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written,verbal and computer skills.
