Process Engineer

The Company’s engineers are the minds behind our success, and Mack is currently looking for a process engineer to evaluate, develop and improve injection molding and manufacturing processes to achieve greater efficiency of company manufacturing functions.
As a process engineer you will gather and analyze information to evaluate current work processes in order to determine the flow of work, time requirements, costs and duration; evaluate current work processes to determine flow of work, time requirements, costs and duration; and develop strategies and programs that improve the productivity and efficiency of the various work processes. Additional responsibilities include developing validated or qualified injection molding processes; guiding and assisting the tooling team to improve processes to achieve quality and efficiency goals; and instructing others in continuous process improvements, including problem solving and productivity techniques. Successful candidates will be able to use various manufacturing engineering problem solving techniques to evaluate and improve production processes, while establishing and optimizing molding processes to achieve process repeatability.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or preferably plastics engineering, along with three or more years of experience in the plastics industry. Specific experience in medical device manufacturing would be a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
