POSITION INFORMATION

JOB TITLE:                  CNC Programmer

COMPENSATION:      Competitive based on experience

  DESCRIPTION:

Primary responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of the CNC machines necessary to produce the growing demand for Atlas’ precision parts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Coordinate with production manager, operators, and fellow programmers

·       Follow current standard operating procedures (SOP) to produce parts

·       Maintain inventory

·       Ensure quality control

·       Maintain equipment according to current SOPs

·       Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues

·       Participate in the programming of future design and production of parts

·       Set-up and proving of programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       3-5 years of experience programming 3 – 5 CNC milling machines

·       Ability to read precision measuring tools

·       Proficient in MasterCam and Solidworks

·       High school diploma – technical degree preferred

·       Mechanically inclined

·       Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem solving

·       Excellent and open communication

·       Team player
